Probate, Estate and Trust Administration

The burdens of probate, estate and trust administration can be difficult, since this area of my practice typically occurs when people are grieving the death of a loved one. My goal with clients--typically the executor of the will or trustee of the trust--is to be thorough and expedient in making sure the decedent’s wishes are fulfilled, and assets are distributed correctly.

I have experience with probate courts in several counties, along with the procedures of probate (where decedent died with a will) and estate administration (where decedent died without a will).

Trust administration involves managing the decedent-Grantor’s property in the trust in accordance with the terms of the trust. I work with families, trustees and fiduciaries to administer the trust in a careful and thorough manner. The law prescribes certain responsibilities of the Trustee, including managing property, providing notices and accountings, and other actions to preserve the trust’s assets and make distributions to beneficiaries.
